At Top Notch CDI, we believe in transforming potential into progress. Our Youth Skilling Program is designed to equip young people with hands-on, marketable skills that open doors to self-employment, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods.
Impacting Over 300 Youth and Counting
Since its inception, the program has directly benefitted over 300 youth, providing them with practical training in:
- 🧵 Tailoring – From basic stitching to advanced garment construction, youth learn how to design, cut, and sew clothing that meets both local and international standards.
- 👞 Shoe Making – Participants are trained in the art of crafting durable and stylish footwear, with a focus on both quality and creativity.
- 🧴 Vaseline & Skincare Product Making – Through this hands-on course, youth are introduced to the basics of cosmetic formulation and small-scale production, enabling them to create and market their own personal care products.
Why It Matters
Unemployment and lack of opportunity disproportionately affect young people in our communities. This program is a direct response — offering skill-based empowerment that turns challenges into opportunities. Many of our graduates have already launched their own small businesses or found gainful employment using the skills they acquired.
